Usually a couple of days at 35 to 40 below, this year none.
Usually 5 to 10 days in the 20 or more below , this year none.
One day approached 20 below as it was 18.8 below here.

The Ash tree in my backyard in Saint Cloud Minnesota, has turned colors and the River Birch is spotted as usual not on Sept 30, 2006.

The forecast was for 37 this morning, but as the last front came thru at 34, I thought that it should be a wee bit colder than 37, as this time of the year each front usually is colder and I was correct, . . .

Well yeah!
However, high wind just six houses down the street from us the guy said that all the leaves in the tree (a weeping willow) were blowing up in the air. That must have been a sight as the limbs . . .

Started at 9:30 here in the Cloud, and continues
Hopefully till a foot
The farmers need the snow cover to protect the crops

Well ya can’t really call it snow as the flakes are all warped or gone,
but it isn’t hail at all,
just not flakes,

Since about ten this morning it's been snowing up here in St. Cloud Minnesota.
Not much snow tho, only about four or five inches.
